The restoration site is situated at community declared watershed area of the IP community in Sitio Suba, Barangay Cayale, Municipality of Tago, Surigao del Sur; located at 126º03’52’’ longitude and 09º03’15’’ latitude  with an elevation of 793 feet above sea level. 

The area is part of the Ancestral Domain of Kalasag IP community.  The Manobo IP community member of Kalasag in Sitio Suba is the partner community in restoring the forest area of their ancestral domain, which is part of the Mount Diwata range.  

The restoration site has uneven terrain with moderate to very steep slopes (11.3 to 30 degrees).

The site is accessible by all type of vehicles from the Municipality of Tandag, the capital town of the province of Surigao del Sur, to Sitio Himat-e, Barangay Cayale for about 1 hour travel and a trek from sitio Himat-e  to the restoration (Sitio Suba)area for an average of 4 hour and 30 minutes.
